The Mandubim brand was created in 1988 for the production of peanut candy and other sweets, but we soon realized that peanuts had much greater potential. We were pioneers in the production of peanut butter in Brazil and, since then, we have continued to think outside the shell, exploring new possibilities with our lines of savory peanut spreads and plant-based drinks.
Peanuts have always been part of our story. They are present at parties, in markets, and in family recipes, but almost always with the same purpose: traditional sweets or snacks. The truth is that they are much more than that. Peanuts are food – nutritious, versatile, and full of possibilities.

For four decades, Sementes Esperança has been dedicated to the cultivation and processing of peanuts, operating in a fully verticalized manner across the entire production chain. We develop seeds, plant and finance small and medium-sized producers, perform beneficiation, and operate a chemical oil extraction plant with a production capacity of 250 tons per day.
We also produce peanut meal for animal feed and operate in retail with our own brand, Mandubim, which offers more than 40 SKUs and has capacity to process up to 6,000 tons annually of sweet and savory products.
Our operation occupies a total area of 72,600 m², including 17,570 m² of built area, with storage capacity for up to 1 million sacks.
Innovation is in our DNA. We maintain ongoing research and development partnerships with leading institutions such as IAC, Embrapa, and Unesp, focused on improving seeds, production processes, and peanut applications, ensuring quality, traceability, and efficiency throughout the chain.

NOTHING ISBUILT ALONE
In 1986, brothers Sidney, João, and Sérgio Bedore joined forces with the Penariol family to found Sementes Esperança. The following year, Fernando Borges joined the team, completing the group of partners. But Sementes Esperança is built by each one of its employees, whether they are here today or were part of its journey over the course of nearly four decades.
